We have 3 questions for you
RITTA MYLER
Spokeswoman on Climate Change (Socialist Group)

Do you think that the European Union has lost a golden opportunity to invest in new technologies? Has it been wasting time when the environment urgently required less pollutant industries?
It is of extreme importance that we can deal with the risks that the IPCC has reported and should therefore meet strict requirements for global negotiations in Copenhagen. The outcome of the Copenhagen meeting must stop the warming of the climate to the maximum of 2 degrees.

Is the European Union doing the best concerning deforestation and forest degradation and biodiversity loss?
So far the EU has not done enough to stop deforestation, forest degradation and biodiversity loss. European countries have already cut down the natural forests in Europe. The biggest concern is to save the tropical and other remaining natural forests in the world. We need a global agreement that includes concrete proposals on how conserving forests is done so that developing countries have incentives to save their forests instead of cutting them down for commercial use.

Give us a super – idea to save the Planet.
